Making Money Online! How? Everything You Need To Know

Making Money Online! How? Everything You Need To Know

How To Make Money Online

The internet today is one of the greatest tools for individuals and business owners to generate or maximize profits, but is it really easy to make money from on the internet?

To keep the answer simple; NO.

So how easy do you think it is to make money online? Before I start discussing making money online in this article we will discuss the basics and most important aspects of online money making, how it works, what works and what doesn't.

Making Money Online: Is It Possible?

Yes, although not very easy at first but you can make profitable income working from the comfort of your home, or even in your kitchen. The internet today is like a real-life marketplace where there are lots of people from all over the world with different wants and also a lot of people offering solutions to different daily life issues, providing answers and displaying their goods and services and As per our calculations, approximately 380 new websites are created every minute!

The world today is fastly growing and with 7.8 billion people in planet Earth as of January 2019, Polls and surveys reveal that:
  1. There are 5.11 billion unique mobile users in the world today, up 100 million (2 percent) in the past year.
  2. There are 4.39 billion internet users in 2019, an increase of 366 million (9 percent) versus January 2018.
  3. There are 3.48 billion social media users in 2019, with the worldwide total growing by 288 million (9 percent) since this time last year.
  4. 3.26 billion people use social media on mobile devices in January 2019, with a growth of 297 million new users representing a year-on-year increase of more than 10 percent.
Which means almost 3.5 billion who still don't know about the internet or who are just getting accustomed to the internet and most of are with different needs and wants, many are looking for solutions, some are actually looking for answers, looking to buy, while some are surfing just for fun or for their business.

Making Money Online As A Business Owner

According to Alexa ranking, the internet today is filled with over 1.5 billion website and every minutes we have about 380 more, the number keep going up and will continue to do so as long as the internet exists, if we looking at this statistics a lot of people will easily conclude and decide that the internet is getting oversaturated and, to be honest, 98% of this new websites are created just for one purpose: Making Money!

Large and small business owners can benefit from the internet and can even double up their sales and profit if they can utilize the internet as a marketplace efficiently.

If you are a business owner, regardless of what kind of business you are running, be it large scale or small scale business, if your business isn't online you are actually missing out, not having your business online you've limited your profit/sales margin and you are leaving out customers who are looking for the kind of services your business provides.

Different kinds of services ranging from quick lunch, food and recipe stores, grocery stores, cars, and even houses can be put for sale/rent/lease on the internet and if your business is properly set up, you will be taking your business to the summit.

Lets's look At Some Examples:

Imagine a world where search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo Search, DevilFinder, or Mama.com doesn't exist Or Imagine a world with no social community like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc, How easy do you think it will be to make a research, look for solutions or get help? We all use some or at least one of the numerous queries and search services website often, it was actully created for anyone looking for answers, yet even people looking to buy, learn more and people who are after researching purposes will never belittile the power of these websites.

In today world everyone is going social, with t

Things You Should Know Before Starting An Internet Business

Starting an internet business can be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, if you jump right in without doing a little research first, you could find yourself becoming overwhelmed very quickly. Some people make it look easy. The truth of the matter is that the people who make it look easy are people who did a lot of research beforehand. They understood what they were assuming to such a significant degree, they were able to avoid some of the common pitfalls of starting an Internet business.

To be sure, you can avoid those pitfalls, as well.

Before You Start An Internet Business

The great thing about the concept of an internet business is the fact that you are referring to a very, very wide spectrum of possibilities. The business can be as large or as small as you want/need it to be. Here are a few things that any internet business entrepreneur should keep in mind before they do something like run out and buy a domain:

  1. Have a plan: While you don’t need to have a detailed, formal business plan, you still need to come up with some mode of attack. This can include researching potential competitors, developing a sense of what you want to market to which group of people
  2. Establish a budget, and keep something else in mind: Your business is going to need a budget, regardless of its size. When budgeting an internet business, there are two things to keep in mind. First, remember that your budget needs to be realistic. Secondly, you want to appreciate the fact that in all likelihood, you’re going to lose money before you make money.
  3. Customers will want to meet you: Standing out from the pack with an internet business can be really challenging. Sometimes, it gets awfully close to impossible. With that in mind, remember that one good way of establishing a unique brand is to filter your own personality into everything that defines your internet business. People are going to want to know who they are buying goods and services from. Don’t reveal more than you are comfortable with, but understand that you will have to create a public identity for customer service purposes and more.
  4. Do something you’re actually going to enjoy: Large or small, an internet business can be a lot of work. Make sure you are doing something you will be able to enjoy, which comes in handy when things take a turn for the challenging.

Treat your Business like a Business, Not a Hobby, Your Internet Business is not a Hobby

A hobby can be turned into a business but a business can never become a hobby. There are some rich and famous people who have the luxury to conduct business while indulging in leisure. For the lesser mortals, business and leisure don’t go hand in hand. Any business requires serious investments, be it material such as money and infrastructure or immaterial as time and effort.

  • A hobby is more of a pastime in which you have substantial passion. A business can never be a pastime. There are serious consequences. You may lose money. If you have employees, then those jobs are at stake and hence their livelihoods. If you have products or services that people depend on then you are risking that and your consumers or customers will be left high and dry if you fail to deliver. A hobby is absolutely personal. No business is completely personal. A business will have direct and indirect impacts on the lives of many people. A startup can still be treated as a hobby until there is serious money in it and the potential or actual impacts on others. Beyond that point, a business must be treated like a business.
  • A hobby has a lot to do with emotion over pragmatism. Most hobbies develop out of sheer love for something. There is little or no aspiration to monetize the skill or whatever you are creating. The purpose is to give form to your feelings or the skills you possess. Essentially, a hobby is about emotions. A business can stem from a particular or cluster of emotions but it can never be managed or run emotionally. You must always have a pragmatic take on your business and that will not happen if you treat it as a hobby or an emotional endeavor.
  • A hobby often has to dabble through spells of procrastination. You cannot allow procrastination to seep in when you are running an actual business. There are deadlines in the real world, bottom lines and real money at stake. You cannot take your own sweet time to develop or deliver something. Treating your business like a hobby will be the recipe for disaster and sooner than later your enterprise will cease to exist or be unsustainable. Also, a hobby is principally about personal satisfaction. A business is not.

Why You Can Fail To Be Successful?

Humans, in general, it is in our nature to be scared of failure and failing, most people can’t afford to fail just once, it will seem that the whole world came crashing down, but do we really need to be scared of failure?

Failure or failing doesn’t mean it is over for us!

If we fail or let's say when we fail at something, be it business, plans, dreams or in the desired lifestyle, we should know it is a lesson to learn, we just learn the wrong way to do business, make a plan or probably we’ve taken the wrong measures to achieve our dreams or lifestyle.

If we didn’t fail at the first, second, third or fourth try, not everybody is lucky to make it the first try, many will say there is no luck in business, true but you having the right plan that works out for you in the first try is the greatest luck you have, if you didn’t fail you’ll never know the wrong way of doing it.

How many times did Thomas Alva Edison fail exactly?

According to Rutgers, Myth Buster: Edison's thousands of attempts, "The source of the story about Edison trying thousands of experiments or materials is probably an 1890 interview in Harper's Monthly Magazine."
I speak without exaggeration when I say that I have constructed three thousand different theories in connection with the electric light, each one of them reasonable and appears to be true. Yet only in two cases did my experiments prove the truth of my theory. My chief difficulty, as perhaps you know, was in constructing the carbon filament, the incandescence of which is the source of the light.                                        Thomas A Edison
I said: 'Isn't it a shame that with the tremendous amount of work you have done you haven't been able to get any results?' Edison turned on me like a flash, and with a smile replied: 'Results! Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! I know several thousand things that won't work!                                                                                  Thomas A Edison

We will never experience the pain of failure, which many seems to be okay with, what if everything turns sideways after it’s been good for a while? Is it a lack of planning? why do so many successful companies who seem to be doing pretty okay at first shut down in no time and most never to be heard of again?

Those questions I’ll leave to All folks readers to leave a comment to.

SO SHOULD WE ACCEPT FAILURE???

The simplest answer to this question is NO! But most people would easily accept defeat and take it as a YES in action, When will fail at something be it academics, business, dreams, plans or lifestyle the biggest most make is they GIVE UP!
We are afraid to fail again so we don’t try again, we totally forgot we’ve gotten an experience already, we know what to do and what not to do, We already have a first-class VIP experience seat on how to do it wrong, so don’t do it that way again!!!

Most people simply because they fail at some point in life will give up their dreams and try to chase new adventures, leaving out something they are extremely good at because they didn’t get the desired results or because they failed after trying a few times.

My Own Example:

In 2013, I created a news and entertainment blog with Blogger, it was with the Blogspot.com extension and no custom domain, wrote some articles about 15 and I tried monetizing immediately, don’t laugh at me, back then all I cared about is to make money with my blog, but 15 articles for about 4 months the income was $0.00, I Got frustrated and I decided to quit and try new things. Tried CPA, Affiliate marketing and Micro jobbing, made few bucks from micro jobbing but CPA and affiliate marketing I wasn’t doping pretty well, I decided to QUIT.

I started to learn and work on a new trade and I spent too much time focusing on that, I made money a bit from my new business and at first, it seems like it will be like this forever, I forgot I had a blog that I’ve worked on, my new business got no guarantee, no salary involves, just mere luck and lots of sleepless nights, but because I was getting snack fees I kept doing it, putting all my hope in a business that has no future.

I totally forgot my passion for the internet and marketing, it was profit over a passion for me! Nothing wrong in profit over passion, but as long you’re passionate about something it should bring you money, if it’s not bringing money, it’s not a good thing to be passionate about I think.

Learning My Lesson The Hard Way

A few months ago, a news was trending in my country about a Nollywood actor, it generated a lot of internet buzz and a lot of people was trying to search about him, I was trying to confirm the trending news so I Googled the man’s name to my greatest surprise I saw a familiar link in PR3 (Page Rank 3 ) on Google results.

My old news and entertainment blog under blogger, got ranked number 3 in search terms related to that actor, I was indeed curious of what happened and how tried getting back the Gmail I created the blog with and took me about 2 weeks to get it back, cos I already lost the number on the account, had to go through extra verification process and when I logged in on Blogger and checked my stats, I almost burst in tears! That single post got 43,876 views and reads and 95% of the traffic directly from Google search! Woahhh Now let's calculate how much I lost!!!

If I had 3 ad units on the article page and I got 43,876 already, despite the fact that it is not a rich nor paying keyword I'll be making at worst  $260 CPM {Revenue earned: cost per 1000 impressions} on just a single blog post. If the blog was updated regularly and with quality content, I will definitely earn more and I would have gotten the exposure I need.

Looking at my example, if my blog wasn't on the Blogger platform I might have never gotten the opportunity to learn from my mistake, many websites and blog owners like me have quit or are about to quit after trying so hard with no results, this experience got me back in blogging, If I kept the blog active and manage to even update with a post every week, I'll know about the buzz period and would have made the best use of the free traffic, converting those free traffic to cash would have been no problem.

Assuming that my blog was on WordPress or probably hosted with a Webhosting service and after the first year I didn't renew, site will be terminated and I might never get to know what I've missed, but I was lucky to be able to learn from my mistake, a blog I gave up 4 years ago, would have given me the extra financial freedom I so much desired after 4 years, So many blogs and websites shuts down regularly every day not every one of them is offline because the owner is "dud and buried" most shuts down after experiencing failure in the first year or two. They'll say I'm not making money and they will give up.

Regardless of what you dream, plan or fantasize about, failure isn't an option for anyone. But

What to do after failure?

First thing first, no wallowing in pain! Simple and efficient solutions should be the next act of plan, like me I replan, restarted and decided never to give up until I can say I was a noob now I'm a pro, regardless of whatever you failed at,  it isn't over yet, you can start over, continue from where you failed or with a new and easy plan, try to adjust your time schedules, seek advice and work 3x harder than you've ever done. Don't be afraid to ask for help and don't ever let failure affect your self-confidence.

You're not a failure cos you're failing, You'll only be a failure when you give up.                                                                                                                                      Richard Omisore

Hoping To Get Fit and Build A Successful Online Business? How To Get Lean, Look Great And Build A Successful Online Business Without Losing Your Mind!

A fine line separates a FIGHTER from a WARRIOR. One is motivated by reason, the other by purpose. One fights to live, while the other lives to fight.
Hopefully, the quote above inspired you and made you realize that this book that you’re reading now is unlike any other. It was written with internet marketers in mind because most of them face certain issues that are very unique.
While most self-help books will congratulate you on taking action and buying these books… that’s not going to happen here. All too often, a quote by Lao Tzu is tossed around just to make people feel good… “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
People read this quote and feel very happy when they take the first step. Every New Year’s Day, millions of people decide to lose weight and get fit. Their ‘single step’ involves them paying money and signing up for a gym membership.
This explains why most gyms make most of their money in December and January. The gyms are packed in January with people taking their single step. By March, these same gyms have become ghost towns.
